Midori
Foundation is a voluntary and non-profit organization being
engaged in providing social services for the poor and low income
groups in selected rural areas / villages in Sri Lanka. Its main objective is
to provide opportunities for such people to overcome poverty in a
sustainable and self reliant manner while promoting, fostering and
dissemination of information in relation to environmental
awareness as an essential pre-requisite for proper environmental
conservation and management.
During the
past, this organization has been involved in carrying out various
development programmes / activities in selected areas in rural
villages to achieve its objective.
Midori Foundation Incorporated on 01/02/2000 under Companies Act. of Sri
Lanka as a ''limited liability company'', Formed for the purpose of " Promoting objects of the
nature contemplated '' and Income & Profit of the foundation
shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the object.
